The Graduate Chancellor's Research Grant is a transformative investment opportunity that directly advances the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's mission of research excellence, student success, and global academic prominence. This comprehensive program provides structured financial support to graduate students while delivering measurable returns through enhanced research output, improved graduation rates, and elevated university reputation. 

 
Who’s Eligible?

Graduate and Professional students from the Graduate College of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln who are enrolled at the time of application. 

  • Applicants must be enrolled in a degree program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and be in good academic standing.
  • All travel must be completed before graduation.
  • Students are eligible to receive up to one travel award per academic year. However, they may apply multiple times, provided they submit only one application per semester (e.g., Fall or Spring). Previous awardees will be considered secondary to first-time applicants.
  • Applicants who have requested and received a refund for the University Program and Facilities Fee (UPFF) Fund A during the current or previous semester shall not be eligible to apply for or receive the Chancellor's Graduate Research Grant.
